The committee reviewer had the following feedback:

This proposal makes a simple title change to align it with current trends. This certainly appears well-founded.

In the syllabus, please indicate how each student learning outcome (SLO) is measured/assessed by one or more assignments named in the syllabus. For example, "SLO1: Critiques models of...; Assessment of SLO1: Quiz 1; Final paper." A table may be useful.

SUMMARY: In the Syllabus:
1) Page 1, Paragraph 1, title: This proposal is requesting the course title be changed. Please correct the title of this paragraph to reflect the New course title.
2) Page 4, "Where: ART 115". This title looks to be the old title and the Prereqs show a different title. Please make these titles identical.
3) Page 9, 2nd paragraph "copyright" question. The link imbedded in the paragraph does not open. Please correct.

In the Proposal:
1) Please change the Effective Term from Fall 2018 to Winter 2019. Deadline for Fall 2018 has passed.

APA has changed the Course Credits mode from Fixed to Range and the course credits from "4" back to "0 or 4" due to this course requiring a Lecture and Studio for schedule types. The Zero of this course is needed to schedule the studio portion.

Adjustments have been made on syllabus. All of the ART: Core Studio classes (formerly called Foundations) were submitted this spring. Proposals were submitted in real-time. The previous references to other classes in the syllabus reflected titles as they are now, not speculating the future title changes which did not yet happen at the time of this submission.

Proposal ID: 102127
Type: Change Course
Submission Date: May 23, 2018 12:25pm
Approval Date: June 27, 2018 2:42pm
Effective Term: Winter 2019
The curriculum proposal change to ART 117 is the title of the course only. There will not be any change to content or requisites. The existing title "FOUNDATIONS 3-D Design" is an outdated term. 3-D Core Studio is current with trends in teaching.
